Basij chief at Iran armed forces general staff killed in US-Israeli strikes
Asadollah Badfar, head of the Basij at Iran's armed forces general staff, has been reported killed during joint US-Israeli strikes on Iran.
Badfar previously served as head of the Basij secretariat at the armed forces general staff.
Iranian authorities have not formally announced his death, but a funeral for the senior commander was held in the city of Qom on March 9.
