Bloomberg: Khamenei advisor’s son plays key role in weapons sale to Russia

Hossein Shamkhani, the son of Iran’s former national security chief, plays a key role in the supply of Iranian arms to Russia, Bloomberg reported, citing more than a dozen unnamed US, UK, and European officials, as well as individuals with direct knowledge of his activities.

Shamkhani, through a network of companies he oversees, including Dubai-based Crios Shipping LLC, began transporting missiles, drone components, and dual-use goods across the Caspian Sea on at least two ships last year, the report said.
