Hekmatyar in talks with Al Jazeera: Panjshir does not want security and stability in Afghanistan

Hezb-e-Islami leader Gulbuddin Hekmatyar told Al Jazeera that the Panjshir resistance is made up of remnants of the former regime who do not want security and stability in Afghanistan. "We and the Taliban are in a single war," said Hekmatyar, who has met with Taliban leaders several times in recent months.
