Hormoz Farhat, composer and researcher of Iranian music and former professor at the University of Tehran, died on Monday at the age of 93 in Ireland. His book "The Concept of Instrument in Iranian Music" and the music of films such as "Cow" and "Mr. Halo" are among his works. Farhat was dean of the Faculty of Music at the University of Dublin from 1982 to 1995
