Sajjad Ganjzadeh won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics. Ganjzadeh, the Iranian Karate Olympian, faced Tariq Hamedi of Saudi Arabia in the 75 kg karate final in the positive weight category, and while he was 4-1 behind his opponent, he fell on the tatami with his opponent's foot and was in a state of anesthesia.
