Brian Hook, the US special representative for Iran announced that Washington will not provide any sanctions waivers to accommodate the French plan for $15 billion credit line to Iran.

At a press conference on Wednesday, Hook said: “We did sanctions today. There will be more sanctions coming. We can’t make it any more clear that we are committed to this campaign of maximum pressure and we are not looking to grant any exceptions or waivers.”

Yesterday, the French foreign minister said the negotiations continue, but the plan can only work with US approval. The French minister of finance also traveled to the US to negotiate over the $15 billion credit line plan for Iran.

• We will use all our political and economic tools to disrupt Iran’s plan to expand its borders and cause chaos and violence in the region.
• The United States has put $15 million rewards against the Quds Force, the terrorist network of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
• The IRGC has expanded its illegal oil transportation network around the world and transfers hundreds of millions of dollars around. This money is used to finance terrorism.
• The network has transported over 10 million barrels of oil to Syria in recent months and most of that revenue has been spent on the Assad regime.
• Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has repeatedly said that we will target Iran’s terrorist network, and sanctioning this oil transportation network is toward that goal.
• Tankers that work in this network turn of their transponders before delivering oil to Syria or China and many of them pretend to carry Iraqi oil.
• Anyone with information on Iran’s oil transportation network who provides us with that information will receive a reward.
• Our goal is to pressure Iran into returning to the negotiation table.
• Iran is very skilled at nuclear blackmail. Iran does not need enrichment.
• We have many common goals with Europe, our only difference is in our methods of reaching them.
• IRGC is strengthening its position in Syria in order to attack Israel, and Israel has the right to defend itself. We support Israel.
• President Trump has repeatedly said that he is willing to talk with the Iranians, but they have rejected diplomacy. Their leader even rejected Prime minister Shinzo Abe’s offer of diplomacy.
