In response to the peace deal between Israel and UAE, Turkey has threatened to suspend its diplomatic relations with Abu Dhabi.

After the Friday-prayer, President Erdogan told the reporters: “We might have to suspend our diplomatic relations with Abu Dhabi or recall our ambassador.”

He condemned what he called “solidarity between Israel and Egypt and Greece and actions against Palestine” and added: “We stand with the people of Palestine; we will not allow Palestine’s rights to be violated.”

Prior to Erdogan, the Foreign Ministry of Turkey announced: “People of Palestine and its officials have the right to strongly respond to the agreement between Israel and UAE.”

The ministry also stated: “History and the conscience of the people of the region will not forgive this duplicitous behavior by the United Arab Emirates and will never forget it.”

The Islamic Republic of Iran has also condemned the peace agreement.

So far, many countries have welcomed and praised the peace deal across the world.

In a statement, Oman’s foreign ministry described the agreement as historic.

The European Union described the agreement as important for the security of the region and for the benefit of both sides.

The Foreign Minister of Germany called the agreement historic and very important step toward peace in the region.

Prime Minister Netanyahu thanked the three countries of Egypt, Oman, and Bahrain for supporting the agreement.
