Trump: Iranian leaders only understand strength and power

U.S President Donald Trump warned Iranian leaders that the time of President Obama and John Kerry has passed, and any attack against U.S national interests will be responded to by force.

On Tuesday, June 25, Presiden Trump tweeted:

“Any attack by Iran on anything American will be met with great and overwhelming force. In some areas, overwhelming will mean obliteration. No more John Kerry & Obama!”

President Trump has been a strong critic of President Obama and his Secretary of State John Kerry for what he calls compassion toward the Iranian leaders.

On Monday, Trump added the leader of the Islamic Republic, Ali Khamenei, and several high-ranking commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to the list of sanctions. The foreign minister of the Islamic Republic, Mohammad Javad Zarif, is to be added to the list in a few days.

The Islamic Republic officials say the new sanctions close the door to any negotiation.

Trump has repeatedly invited Iranian officials to return to the negotiation table, but the Islamic Republic has refused to negotiate and says Trump cannot be trusted.

In another tweet, President Trump stated: “Iran leadership doesn’t understand the words “nice” or “compassion,” they never have. Sadly, the thing they do understand is Strength and Power, and the USA is by far the most powerful Military Force in the world, with 1.5 Trillion Dollars invested over the last two years alone.”

In one tweet, Donald Trump says Iranian IED bombs have killed over 2000 American and injured many more while “The wonderful Iranian people are suffering, and for no reason at all. Their leadership spends all of its money on Terror, and little on anything else.”
