Nine Companies Sanctioned for Delivering Iranian Oil to Syria

The United States Treasury today sanctioned 9 companies connected to an international network.

Through this network, the Islamic Republic has delivered millions of barrels of oil to Syria with the help of Russian companies.

According to the treasury, in return for the oil, the Assad regime facilitates the transfer of hundreds of millions of dollars to Islamic Revolutionary Guard’s Qods Force.

These sanctions were imposed in order to block the financial aid to the Assad regime and terrorist group.

The sanctions target individuals such as Mohammad Amer Alchwiki and his company Global Vision Group based in Russia.

Alchwiki and his company play an important role in delivering Iranian oil to Syria and transferring money to IRGC’s Qods Force subsidiary groups
