Commander of IRGC: We Have the Capability to Annihilate Israel

The commander-in-chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hossein Salami, announced that the IRGC has achieved the capability to annihilate Israel.

In a speech for the commanders of the IRGC on Monday, Salami referred to the Leader Ali Khamenei’s recent declaration regarding the second phase of the Islamic Revolution, which involves civilization-building, and said: “In the second step, this regime must be wiped from the face of the world and this mission is no longer a dream and ideal but an achievable goal.”

He went on to claim that the world is fundamentally changing during this second step, and “the enemy’s strategic resources” are running out. He added that during this time, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard is thinking about the mobilization of the Islamic world.

“The Americans themselves admit that they lack a spiritual leader that can infiltrate the heart and soul of the society, and they believe this is the root of their failures,” Salami continued.

The commander-in-chief of the IRGC also boasted about the power of the Islamic Republic’s military: “Today we can attack the enemy at any level, with any severity, and in any area, and our power is respected.”

He dismissed the sanctions against Iran as “ineffective.”

Salami also claimed that when warships distance themselves from their operational zone it is because they are actually distancing themselves from Iran’s power.
