Teacher Kidnapped by IRGC and Detained in Psychiatric Hospital
One day after the kidnapping of Hashem Khastar, the retired teacher and civil activist, his wife announced that IRGC Intelligence has arrested her husband without a warrant, hospitalized him in the Ibn Sina Psychiatric Hospital in Mashhad, and ordered no visitations for him to the hospital’s management.
On Tuesday, October 23rd, Sadigheh Maleki, Khastar’s wife announced that the retired teacher has disappeared. According to her, his car was left in front of his workplace and his cell phone was turned off.
She says one of the nurses at the hospital has told her that her husband is being kept in one of the emergency rooms at the Psychiatric hospital and he is not allowed no-visitation by the order of the security forces.
Sadigheh Maleki says that her husband is very healthy and the only drug he takes is for blood pressure.
