Khamenei: U.S negotiation offer is deception

Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran says the negotiation offer by the United States is deception and according to him aimed at the disarmament of the nation and removing the sources of Iran’s power.

On Wednesday, June 26, the leader of the Islamic Republic said: “When the enemy cannot achieve its goals through pressure, it offers negotiation and assumes the Iranian people are naïve.”

He called the U.S sanctions unjust and said although Iranian people are victims of injustice, they are not weak.

This is Khamenei’s first speech after President Trump put him and his office on the list of sanctions.

Khamenei said the American government is the evilest government on earth and added that “the Iranian nation” will not “back down” when faced with pressures, accusations, and insults.

Yesterday, President Trump tweeted that Iranian leaders do not understand “nice” and “compassion” and never did. Unfortunately, the only thing that they understand is power and strength.

The leader of Iran also called the Islamic Revolution a historic event which saved Iran from being a doormat.

Khamenei said the enemy’s pressure on the nation is futile, and confidently claimed:  “I am certain that the Iranian people, despite the doubt that some people create, will participate in the parliamentary election enthusiastically.”

Some of the former Iranian officials including former president Mohammad Khatami have expressed despair about people’s participation in the election.
