Khamenei: The Enemy is in War Formation, People Must Be Ready

Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic said that he believes the enemy is in “war formation” and it is necessary for the Iranian people to “get ready” appropriately and “enter the field”.

According to the state media outlets, on Wednesday, the leader of the Islamic Republic said: “In the face of enemy’s war formation against the nation of Iran, the nation must get into an appropriate formation and all the officials, masses, elites and capable people in every field must enter the field with a sense of responsibility and readiness.”

In another part of his speech on Wednesday, while referring to the recent U.S policies regarding Iran, Khamenei said: “The U.S and the Zionists are planning and preparing on every level. This is not specific to the current government. Previous administrations did the same but with a velvet glove. The current president of the U.S has taken off that glove so the whole world can see the metal arm underneath it.”

Abdolrahim Mousavi, the commander in chief of the Islamic Republic’s army also said on Wednesday that all forces must prepare their units to have the “night of the attack” mentality and practice the “war game” constantly.

At a meeting with the commanders of ground forces, Mousavi talked about the “enemy’s serious threat” of war against Iran. He emphasized: “In the beginning, these threats will not be from the ground. But as the center of all operations, the ground forces must be prepared.” He also demanded newer technology and empowering the army.
