IRGC Commander: We Can Produce Long-Range Missiles

Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of IRGC aerospace force says that Iran is capable of building missiles with over 2000 km range and that number is not their limit.

According to him, Iran has no technical or contractual limitation in the range of its missiles.

Hajizadeh added that the decision regarding the range of the missiles have so far been based on the needs of the Islamic Republic, and “most of the enemy’s bases are within 300 to 400 km range, and on the second level, in 700-800 km distances.”

Recently, a photo of an Iranian missile with “Israel must be destroyed” written on it in Hebrew caused controversy.

In recent weeks Mike Pompeo and other Western officials have accused the Islamic Republic of testing missiles that violate the 2231 resolution. A test which also caused U.K and France to object.
