Iranian MP: We Will Drown the American Aircraft Career if It “Makes a Mistake”

Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a member of the national security committee stated that Iranian precise (Point-hitter) missiles will drown the American aircraft career in the Persian Gulf if it “makes a mistake”.

According to Jamaran News Agency, in an interview with Al-Alam this member of parliament talked about Iran’s military power: “In the eight-year-war in which the United States and western countries were supported Iraq in every way, we were victorious. We are currently much more developed and equipped and our power has increased to much higher levels.”

Although he stated that there is “zero” chance of war between Iran and America, he added: “War with Iran is playing with fire, and if the fire starts, it will not be limited to Iran.”

John Bolton, the national security advisor to President Trump said on Wednesday that the deployment of USS Abraham Lincoln to the middle east was due to “receiving signals regarding the possibility of an Iranian attack against American forces.”

Regarding the JCPOA (Iran nuclear deal) Boroujerdi said: “If the other sides want to play this type of game, we will distance ourselves from the limitations we have voluntarily accepted.” However, he clarified that exiting the JCPOA will “give excuses to the Americans” and explained: “We need to have a turn in our policies regarding the JCPOA, but this turn does not mean we will exit the deal.”

The Wall Street Journal had claimed in a report yesterday that “Iranian officials are deliberating on leaving the JCPOA.”
