Chief of Iran’s cyber police, Seyed Kamal Hadianfar, claimed that the hackers who attacked Mashhad and Tabriz airports have been identified and arrested.
On May 24th, public screens in the Mashhad Airport were hacked for several minutes and imaged and messages in support of the January uprising appeared on the screens.
Shortly after, Tabriz Airport was also hacked, and the airport screens broadcasted messages and images in support of the anti-regime uprising in January and the truckers’ strike.
The hacker group “Tapandegan” had claimed responsibility for the attack.
