Almost Half of All Abused Women Are Between 30 to 39

 

Reza Jafari, the chairman of social emergency of the welfare organization says that 48 percent of victims of domestic abuse are women between the ages of 30 to 39.

Jafari says: “2.3 percent of women who visited our social emergency centers are between 11 to 18 years old, 26.4 percent between 19 to 29, and 22 percent over 40 years old."

According to Jafari, only 14 percent of victims of domestic abuse have a university education. Most of these women have a high school diploma or lower education.

The social emergency center has branches in every town of over 50000 population.
