The women’s cycling race that was supposed to be held in Qom city has been canceled due to “some pressures”. The race had received all the necessary permits and was supposed to be held in a “women only, confined space”.
According to IRNA, despite having all the permits, the event was canceled due to some pressures under the excuse of “undermining the religious status of Qom city.”
US Navy responds to IRGC moving a fake aircraft carrier to Strait of Hormuz
The U.S Navy condemned the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) for using a dummy aircraft carrier modeled after an American Nimitz class carrier for target practice and called the Islamic Republic's action "irresponsible".
Yesterday, the IRGC moved the model aircraft carrier toward the Strait of Hormuz. The vessel was once used and destroyed in 2015, and was later repaired.
Netanyahu once again warns Iran about military presence in Syria
Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel once again warned Iran that his country will not allow Iran to establish a military presence in Syria.
Netanyahu said on Monday: “Our policy is clear. First of all, we will not allow the regime of Iran to establish a military presence on our border with Syria. This policy was put in place years ago and still continues.”
“Second, Lebanon and Hezbollah are responsible for any attack against us from Lebanese soil. Third, Israeli armies prepared for any scenario,” he added.
Islamic Jihad and Hamas condemn the US for following Mahan plane
Hamas and Islamic Jihad both condemned yesterday’s incident where a US fighter jet approached a Mahan Airline plane.
Hamas has released a statement calling it targetting of civilians, and terrorism.
Both groups are financially and militarily supported by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Haft-Tappeh workers’ channel: CEO has transferred $700 million to Canada
The Telegram channel of Haft Tappeh Sugarcane Company workers wrote that the CEO of Haft Tappeh, Omid Asadbeigi, who has been accused of embezzlement has transferred $700 million to Canada.
The channel also wrote that “Asadbeigi and his team embezzled an amount equal to 60 years of our salaries and took half of it to Canada.”
The workers of Haft Tappeh have been on strike for almost 40 days.
Pompeo visits London for talks about extending Iran’s arms embargo
U.S Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced that in his visit to London he has talked with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Foreign Minister Dominic Raab about extending the Islamic Republic’s arms embargo.
Pompeo also congratulated the UK on its decision to ban Huawei and opening an invitation to Hongkongers.
“The CCP’s exploitation of this disaster (pandemic) to further its own interests has been disgraceful,” Pompeo said.
