Despite All the Promises

The Dollar Rises Again

Reports from Tehran's currency exchange market indicate a rise in the price of foreign currency and gold.

After a few days of descending prices due to the Central Bank's efforts, the price of the dollar is on the rise again.

According to the reports, today, one American dollar was sold at 13850 tomans (138500 rials), and each new gold coin was priced at 4,150,000 tomans.

In the past few days, the financial and banking authorities in Iran had claimed that they have found the right strategy to stop the devaluation of Rial, and they had promised that the drop in the prices of dollar and gold will continue.

The price of the dollar has been on a constant rise during the last 6 months.
